TRACK RECORD
We fully renovated the Silvia Tcherassi flagship store in Cartagena's historic center; Roca Arquitectos had previously worked on 4 of their stores. The challenge was to completely update the technical infrastructure without losing the dialogue between the original colonial architecture and the brand's luxury identity.
As this was a renovation of a previous Roca project, the starting point was a thorough diagnosis of the existing electrical networks, ventilation and finishes, evaluating which elements of the colonial architecture —brick arches, stone walls— should be preserved and restored as part of the space's identity.
A new layout was developed integrating glass and brass furniture, custom-designed displays and a sculptural lighting system, designed to highlight haute couture pieces without competing with the building's original architecture.
Complete renovation of floors, ceilings and paint, together with the update of electrical networks and ventilation systems. Final assembly included installation of furniture, lighting and decorative finishes that define the in-store brand experience.
